“Wait, why’s that wave so small and moving right towards–SNAKE!”
I’ve done outdoor shoots before. Events, parties, bars. But there’s outdoors and there’s outdoors. Most of my sessions don’t usually involve a hike and getting up before the sunrise. Though I didn’t mind.
I knew my clients wanted some shots by the water, but I didn’t quite realize they meant *in* the water. I just… I couldn’t get the angle I wanted from dry land. I hadn’t dressed for this. Though I didn’t mind.
Even if I did end up soaked up to my nipples
What was more of a problem was when a passing speedboat upset the local fauna, and a water snake slithered right up to our shoot. Thankfully she was out of the water changing, but I had to make a very wet sprint back to land.
Though risk to life, life and dry undies was worth it. I was unbelievably happy with how she came out.
